No. The Garden at 120 is free to visit and you do not need to book in advance.

Opening hours change with the seasons and on weekends.

Summer (1st April-30th September)
Open daily 10am-9pm weekends until 5pm

Winter (1st October-31st March)
Open daily 10am-6.30pm weekends until 5pm

The Garden is closed on bank holidays.

Enter from Fenchurch Street or Fenchurch Avenue via Hogarth Court and follow signs for the lifts to the 15th floor. You will go through a short security check before heading up.

Upon arrival visitors to the Garden at 120 must go through an airport style security screening process.
Our friendly, highly trained Roof Safety Team will be present at all entry and exit points.

Security information:

• Bags will be X-Ray scanned and visitors required to go through a walkthrough metal detector before entry is granted
• Laptops will need to be removed from bags to be scanned separately
  We politely request no filming of the security process whilst in the search room
• A small suitcase can be admitted if the bag can fit through the X-ray machine

We have a close relationship with the City of London Police including a Police Counter Terrorism Security Advisor and Project Servator training and support. We are visited frequently by these organisations which include uniformed patrols at The Garden at 120.

Our team work closely with Eastern City Improvement District to improve security across the city as a whole and ensure our procedures follow best practice.We are committed to ensuring our visitors enjoy The Garden at 120 knowing that the utmost care is taken to provide a safe and secure experience.

The garden can be busier on clear days, at weekends and in summer. Look at our live footfall counter to help you see how many people are up there before you set off.

Yes, families are welcome and The Garden is step‑free via the lifts. Please supervise children at all times while you’re in the garden. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

You can bring your own food and soft drinks and use the seating in the garden. Glass bottles and alcohol are not allowed.

Yes. The Garden at 120 is reached by dedicated lifts and has step‑free routes around the rooftop.

In extreme weather heat, storm, snow, ice or high winds, the garden may close for safety. Check our website for updates on the day of your visit, especially in winter.

Groups of up to 40 people can visit The Garden at 120 on weekdays. Book at least two weeks ahead – slots are available at 10am, 11am, 3pm and 4pm. For school groups, minimum adult-to-child ratios are 1:6 (ages 4-8), 1:8 (ages 9-12) and 1:10 (ages 13-18), with more adults if pupils need extra support.

The following policy is designed to ensure the secure handling, storage and processing of lost & found property in accordance with Section 2 of the Theft Act, 1968.
Our intention is to ensure that lost property is held safely and reunited with the owner wherever possible. Unclaimed property will be disposed of after 3 months.

Lost Items
Please contact us if you believe you have lost property as soon as possible. If we have found your item we will keep it until you are able to collect it.
(Bank cards will be destroyed after 1 week)

Found items
If you have found something at The Garden at 120 that you think may be lost hand please inform a member of our Roof Safety Team. If you can provide details as to where the item/s were found plus your name and contact details this would be useful.
