Bulbs in Full Bloom

Tulips bring colour and drama into the garden with their distinctive flowers.

“All the narcissi are fully in bloom. All the tulips will emerge and tend to bloom from late March to mid April,” says Phoebe. That overlap means beds feel full, with layers of colour at different heights. Alliums send up strong stems ready for flowering in late spring.

– Allium stems rising cleanly through other planting
