Summer/Autumn Tableau

In July and August, Skyframe shows the Summer/Autumn version of The Call of Things, highlighting long days, full foliage and the first signs of seasonal change.

The Summer/Autumn sequence of The Call of Things, by Vong Phaophanit and Claire Oboussier, uses the same filmed material, gardens, parks, the Thames and the surrounding skyline but shifts the emphasis to high‑summer growth and the start of autumn colour. Overhead, you may notice dense canopies, reflections on water and slower, heavier clouds, edited so that city structures and plant life share the same digital plane.

The soundscape continues to weave together electronic music with field recordings, picking up details like birds and distant urban noise without demanding your full attention. It is there as a background to everyday journeys through the passage, adding a sense of the season even if you only look up briefly.
