Summer Series: Pause Above The City

This summer, The Garden at 120 has put together a programme worth taking a proper break for.

From 27th June to 12th July, we’re hosting 14 days of free events, open to everyone. Brought together in collaboration with Eastern City BID on the rooftop, from the big screen in the far corner to the plant-lined workshop space. There is something on most days to enjoy, you just need to book your place.

Events

Eat Me Cinema – 27th & 28th June
Step into the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland with a unique rooftop edible cinema experience, aimed at families and children.

This hosted cinematic dining event combines film, live storytelling and themed tasting moments to transform a classic screening into an immersive journey. Throughout the film, a professional storyteller will guide guests through key moments of the adventure, introducing a series of carefully curated edible surprises inspired by the story.

Weekend Tennis Screenings – 4th, 11th & 12th July
Enjoy live coverage of the summer tennis championships from one of London’s highest public rooftop gardens.

Guests can reserve a free viewing session and relax in front of the large outdoor screen while taking in panoramic views across the City. Attendance is managed through free advance registration, creating a relaxed rooftop setting to enjoy live sport throughout the tournament.

Weekday Tennis Screenings – 29th June – 12th July

As well as the bookable tennis events, we’re also showing the rest of the tennis on a first come first served basis. Excludes the morning sessions 5th & 8th July.

Morning Tai Chi – 30th June & 7th July

A guided Tai Chi session designed to help participants start their day with movement, mindfulness and panoramic city views.

Snap the City Workshop – 30th June
Learn how to capture striking cityscape photography using only your smartphone.

Guests will receive practical tips and techniques while exploring one of London’s most unique viewpoints.

Heavenly Choirs – 2nd July
A series of live choral performances set against the backdrop of the London skyline, bringing moments of uplifting music to the rooftop garden.

SoFar Sounds – 5th July
An intimate live music performance hosted on the rooftop, featuring emerging artists in a unique open-air setting. This is our only event where you need to buy a ticket.

Fungi & Wellness: An Introduction to Mushrooms – 7th July
An introductory workshop exploring the world of fungi, mushroom cultivation, nutrition and wellbeing.

Discover the fascinating world of fungi through an engaging hands-on workshop led by the experts at Fat Fox Mushrooms.

Live Jazz in the Garden – 9th & 11th July
30 minute live music sessions held at the Garden at 120. Relax with live jazz performances in the rooftop garden while enjoying panoramic views across the capital.
